Show Funeral Services Are Held for OrienG.Winegar Funeral service for Orion G. Winegar, 53, who died last Wednesday Wed-nesday of a heart ailment, were held Monday in the Parowan Third ward chapel with Arnold O. Gurr of -the ward bishopric conducting the services. Speakers at the services were Bishop Raymond Farrow of Summit, Sum-mit, and Samuel J. Whitney, both of whom had been close friends of the deceased since he came to Parowan in 1948. Musical numbers were the opening song. 'The Lost Chord" by a ladies trio consisting of Shirley Evans, Ramona Stubbs and Elna Stubbs, with Itha Mortensen Mor-tensen as accompanist; an organ solo by Mrs. John Cross, and the closing song "There Is a Green Hill" by the ladies trio. The opening prayer was offered of-fered by John H. Pendleton, the benediction by Ancil J. Adams, and at the cemetery the grave was dedicated by John W. Bent-ley. Bent-ley. A. B. Matheson, Albert Adams, Lloyd Stubbs, Elmer Jensen, Robert Rob-ert Fowler and T. A. Topham of the Parowan Post of the American Ameri-can Legion acted as pall bearers, and at the cemetery Post chaplain chap-lain Alma Evans presented the |
