Show Police Investigating Piobbery of Utah Poultry Plant The Cedar City police officers are trying to run down clues that might lead to the apprehension of individuals who broke into the Utah Poultry Cooperative plant on the north edge of the city a week ago and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash. A quantity of money, perhaps as much as $300 was left in a drawer in the office of the plant, and it was all taken. The money was amounts collected for unmarketable un-marketable birds that had been sold at the plant. The burglars apparently entered en-tered the building by breaking through a basement window, then knocking the glass out of the door to the office, and reaching reach-ing in and unlocking the door. No attempt was made to open the safe, officers report. |
