Show Utah Savings Bond Sales Show October Gain Francis W. Betenson, Iron County Coun-ty bond chairman, received word today that savings bond sales for the state of Utah were up 28 in October over September of this year. This is the highest gain over a previous month, percentagewise, percent-agewise, this year to date. Total sales of series E and II bonds in Iron County for October Octo-ber were $5,746, Mr. Betenson reports, re-ports, making a total of $75,709 for the year to date, or 64.3 of quota. For the state, $1,538,923 was invested In these two types of savings bonds. It was also interesting to note that of Utah's 29 counties, 20 ex-ceded ex-ceded sales of the previous month. Two counties, Summit and San Juan, are now well over their total quota for the year.
