Show Cynthia Jones Active in College Choreography Cynthia Jones', daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Jones, Cedar City, participated in a dance concert presented at Arizona State Col-. Col-. . . - lege at Tempe, Nov. 19. Miss Jones danced in "Los An-geles An-geles Smog," one of the nine numbers comprising the concert which was entitled "Newsliness." All of the numbers were choreographed choreo-graphed and costumed by Ariz-one Ariz-one State students'. The program was sponsored by Orchesis, honorary hon-orary dance group on the campus. "Newsliness" was the highlight high-light of the 11th annual high school dance symposium held on the Arizona State campus Saturday. Sat-urday. Under the direction of Miss Margaret Gis'olo, assistant professor of physical education for women at ASC, students representing rep-resenting 15 high schools participated par-ticipated in the symposium. Arizona State dance students assisted the high school students during the various activities, and the women physical education majors at ASC were hostesses during the day. A sophomore at Arizona State, Miss Jones is majoring in physical phy-sical education and minoring in dance. In 1953 she was graduated grad-uated from Cedar High School where she was a member of the Pep Club and participated in the Dance Review. |
