Show Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Stevens of this city will cele-' brate their 60th Wedding Anniversary Anniver-sary with an open house Saturday, . Nov. 28 from 5 to 8 p. m. ' ; " J I Parowan Residents Observe 60th Wedding Date Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stevens of Pirowan wiU celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 26. For the occasion occas-ion open house will be held at the Parowan First-Second Ward Relief Society rooms from 5 until un-til S p. m. Mr. Stevens was born Feb. 7, 1873, and Mrs. Stevens was born Mar. 8, 1877. Both are lifelong resident of Parowan They were married on Nov. 26, 1895 in the St. George L D S tern-pie, tern-pie, And have been active in affairs of that church throughout their lives, with Mr. Stevens filling fill-ing a mission just a few years ago. They are the parents of eight living children, Mrs. Bertha .Top-ham, .Top-ham, Paragonah; Ervin Stevens, Mrs. Ada Hul.'inger, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Marie Smith, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Violet Squires, Arnold Stevens, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Lois Bryant, Cedar City, and Hillman Stevens, Ogden. They also have 21 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren. |
