Show SixthWardMIA To Present Comedy Production The Sixth Ward Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association will pre- j sent a three-act play, "Paper Plates for Papa," in the Third Ward Recreation Hall Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p. m. according to Mrs. Ralph Hafen, director of the production. , The hilarious comedy is t lie story of how a family turned the1 tables on Papa who has been) spending too much time on the job and away from his family.1 The dialogue, according to Mrs. . Hafen, is clever and full of teenage teen-age slang which in turn shocks both Papa and Mama. It is a play that will appeal to every age group and everyone is urged to come and bring the family for an evening of fine entertainment, en-tertainment, officers of the M I A stated. Cast for the production is Is follows: Pape, Joe Atkin; Mama, Mrs. Keith Cripps; Jenny, Ranae Gentry; Ann. Bonnie Sherratt: Beth, Linda Knell, Stanley Van Nostrand, Lloyd DeMille; Precious Pre-cious (an eccentric maid), Mrs. William Condie; Russ, Ralph Stokes; Bart, Frank Knell, Mrs. Schlenger, Leah Holmes; Mrs. Kaiser, Connie Baldwin, Mr. Garfield, Gar-field, Bob Linford. There will be no admission ' charge, officers state. In addition ' to the performance, several very I entertaining numbers will be presented between acts. |
