Show CEDAR CITY By Wayne Decker EDITOR'S NOTE: Arrangements have been made with Wayne .Decker, student at the Cedar City I High School, to provide a column .of news each week of activities at the high school. His column 1 will appear each week during the remainder of the 1954-55 school year. . The high school traveling assembly as-sembly went on the road Tues day. The talent that represent -l ed the school in this exchange assembly was chosen from those who took part in the talent assembly as-sembly at the beginning of the school year. The theme "Syncopated "Synco-pated Clock" was presented by 34 outstanding students. The assembly as-sembly was presented at Kanab and Orderville. We expect return re-turn assemblies from these schools sometime in the future. The annual girls' day dance will be held in the high school gym Friday night at 9 o'clock. Names for partners were drawn for this affair Wednesday morning, morn-ing, with Carol Bauer, president of the girls' organization, and Ruddy Torres, president of the boys' organization, doing the drawing and matching nam'.s. The names were broadcast over the public address system in the school and the girls given until dance time Friday nighf to catch their dates. This affair promises to be one of the most enjoyable enjoy-able of the year. |
