Show Civic Clubs Plan Joint Meet To Honor Chase A joint meeting of the Cedar City Lions, Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs plus other members of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Com-merce and all interested citizens has been called for the purpose of paying homage to Dr. Daryl Chase. The meeting will be held Tuesday noon, Dec. 7, at, at El Escalante Hotel. Dr. Chase who has recently accepted ac-cepted an appointment as president presi-dent of the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural College, is director of the College of Southern Utah, a director di-rector this past year in the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Rotary Club of this community. Tuesday noon, the regular meeting time of the Rotary Club will be devoted to honoring this outstanding leader in his new appointment and giving him a farewell as a leader in the community. com-munity. The meeting will be conducted conduct-ed by the Chamber of Commerce Com-merce with Dr. John Beal, president, presi-dent, presiding. In addition to paying tribute to the honored guest a number of items of chamber interest will be brought before the group.
