Show LETTER TO THE EDITOR I 'Dear Editor: j Once again, through the columns col-umns of the Record, I am compelled com-pelled to complain of my culinary culin-ary water supply being entirely shut off because of the location of the city well in my dooryard, and beciui.se of the negligence of certain city officials. Twice during the past two days I have asked the Mayor if something some-thing could not be done immediately immed-iately to alleviate the condition, and each time I was promised there would ho something done. At this writing no action has been taken. Needless to say, a culinary water wa-ter supply is a requisite on the farm or in the city. We have fat lambs in our yards that are badly bad-ly in tired of running water and for the past two days we have been compelled to haul all our water a distance of two miles. Add to this the problem of sewage sew-age disposal, or can it be that because we live five miles out of the city, officers think we don't have modern plumbing? RICHARD WILLIAMS |
