Show Enoch and Midvalley By Mrs. Cora Murie William H. Grimshaw is home again after spending a few days in the Iron county hospital. The family of William P. Hunter Hunt-er have been staying with the Grimshavs and James Smith families. The Hunters have been here because of the illness of Mr. Hunter, who is improving in the Iron county hospitaj. The Ward Choir gave a surprise sur-prise party for George D. Grimshaw Grim-shaw in the Reliof Society rooms. The affair honored him in being named to the Presidency of Par-owan Par-owan Stake. He is first counsellor to President Howard Knight, and has had to resign as choir leader in the ward. The MIA drama department presented a one act ray. "Glad Angles Are Singing," last Tuesday Tues-day evening. After the play the evening was spent in playing exciting games. Refreshments were served by the MIA officers. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Armstrong spent Saturday in Salt Lake City on business. While in northern Utah they visited with Mr. Armstrong's Arm-strong's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Armstrong of Brigham City. Glen Garfield is ill with the mumps. There are mumps in several sev-eral families in the ward. Shirll Chamberlain and family visited with his sisters, Helen and Rua Jones, last week end. The Larks and Bluebirds of Primary gave a party and program pro-gram for their parents Sunday, under the supervision of their teachers Veda Matheson and Lu-cile Lu-cile Murie. |
