Show CSU Building Program Studied By AC Board Members Further steps were taken at the meeting of the Board of Trustees Trus-tees of the Utah State Agricultural Agricultur-al CftUege Saturday for the construction con-struction of a new mechanics arts building at the College of Southern South-ern Utah in Cedar City. Tentative plans for the structure were stud-led stud-led by the board and approved. Plans and specifications for the structure are being prepared by L. Robert Gardner, local architect, and as soon as these are completed complet-ed it is expected that a call for bids will be issued. The state legislature at last session appropriated appro-priated $200,000 for the new building. It is understood that the building build-ing will be located just West of the Memorial Fieldhouse on the college campus. It will be West of the highway crossing the campus in front of the fieldhouse and immediately North of the present livestock sheds. Consideration was p.'so given plans for improvements in the Dairy facilities at the college, for which $18,000 has been appropriated. appro-priated. It is expected that a new building will he erected, but plans and location have not yet been decided upon. |
