Show Organizational Meet Held by Kiwanians At a special meeting called by i newly elected president, Frank Milne, of the Cedar City Klwanis Club, an outline of duties and responsibilities for chairmen and committeemen selected for 1956 was presented. The meeting was heJd in the basement of the Elks home Monday evening. The meeting Is a final step In the organization of similar meetings from the International headquarters clown to the club level. Milne and other elective officers for the coming year recently re-cently attended a similar training train-ing school at Ogden for all the Utah-Idaho district. Although the newlv elected of ficers and the committee appointments appoint-ments made by the administration administra-tion wi'J not be effective until Jan. 1, 1956, the training program pro-gram is held to prepare the members mem-bers for their various duties dur ing the year. A list of the chairmen for the coming year was announced at the meeting as follows: Agriculture and conservation: I Keith Norris; puh'ic and business busi-ness affairs, Roger Felt; support of churches, L. Dee Watson; vocational vo-cational guidance, Brucp Os i borne; underprivileged children J. W. Banks; Key Clubs, Rav Lee I Kiwanis educat ion and fellow-I fellow-I ship, Merrill O. Mcmm'ott. ! A committee to be headed by " Lee Empey and including ail ? past presidents of the Cedar City jclub will serve as a convent lor committee. The local organlza- tion will host the Utah-Idaho DIs-" DIs-" trict convention in September, of 1956.
