Show Dennis Colbert Hi Friends. As Cedar High's 1953 edition of Sadie Hawkins Day fades into the distance, we pause to sit back and catch our breath. Wait! What's this I hear? I just heard that we're going to be having our tests before the Christmas holidays. holi-days. So here we go again. A person can't even catch his breath these days there is so much going on. Student Council Report Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock , Student Council was held in the library. Each of the representatives representa-tives gave a report of what his ' home room would do in the Christmas' assembly. This assembly assem-bly will be held Dec. 23, and ' will be on a competitive basis. ' Each of the classes in the school will present a five minute act, , this along with the home room , decorations will decide the room to gain possession of the gold trophy. It was decided that the student council members will be out in full force Saturday morning to decorate the outside of the high school for Christmas. Wreaths and other things will be put up to show Cedar High has the true Christmas spirit. j Doc. 2(i will be the date for the Christmas dance this year. It wi,'l be held in the high school gym under the sponsorship of the lo cal Elks club. Admission is free for all high school students and the Elks hope to have a large crowd in attendance. Let's all come out and have a swell time. The Elks wiU also sponsor the New Year's dance which will be I held in the high school gym Dec. 31. This dance is for the youth of Cedar City and everyone is invited in-vited to attend. Admission is free and you're urged to come out and have a swell time. In the past, these danced haven't been J very successful, so let's all come out and make this the best ever i staged. |
