Show Stake M-Men Hoop Tourney Schedule Announced The M-Men basketball program of the Cedar Stake is now going full swing and a tentative schedule sched-ule of games has been announced by Gordon Jones, stake athletic chairman. All games are being played in the Cedar Stake House and interested in-terested citizens have been extended ex-tended an invitation to attend. There is no charge being made for the games. Not all of the wards are participating partici-pating this season, Jones said. Those who are participating include in-clude the Third, Fourth, College and Sixth Wards. The Second and Seventh have combined to form another team and the L D S Institute In-stitute has formed two teams for participation this season to make a league of seven teams. Jones pointed out that because of the constant demand for the use of the Stake House the ,'eague i schedule will have to be revised from time to time. However, the, schedule will be run off as close to the established dates and times as possible. , Friday evening, Dec. 16 at 7, the Sixth meets the Institute B team and at 8:15 the Institute A team1 meets the College Ward. Wednesday, Dec. 21. the sixth! and Fourth wards will meet at 8 p. m. Thursday, Dec. 22. another single sin-gle game is scheduled for 8:30 pitting the two Institute teams against each other. The schedule runs through Friday, Fri-day, Dec. 23, at which time the program will take a "vacation" through the Christmas' holidays to resume on Jan. 4, 1956. |
