Show : 1 Mine Executive Advanced by Co. i Chris Mason, a name which has been associated with mining since the beginning of Utah Construction Con-struction operations at the mine sites just west of Cedar City, has been advanced recently to the position po-sition of consultant for the Utah Construction Company. Announcement of the advancement advance-ment was made early this month and Chris left his position's superintendent sup-erintendent of all Utah Construction Construc-tion operations, a position which t-- mtZl sZLiAiiL. he has held since Jan. 19-13 when the company first began operations opera-tions in Iron County. Chris is now in Canada with his company but will return prior to Christmas, according to his wife. Moving in to fiU. the vacancy of superintendent of the local operations op-erations is Boyd Paulson, former chief engineer for the company here. Advanced to assistant superintendent sup-erintendent was E. C. DcMass, it Is understood. In his capacity as superintendent superintend-ent for the past 12 ye?.rs Chris has maintained continued effort to coordinate the activities of the mines with those of the communities commu-nities from which the company draws its manpower. Through his leadership the company has participated par-ticipated in a number of local sponsorships including one and two Softball teams in the Cedar City Softball Association and in the Jaycee basketball league as well, as a pah of the company's recreationa.1 activities. He has established a policy of generous contributions to worth-wile worth-wile community projects, in addi- i tion to maintaining a continue operation of constant employment employ-ment for the area. v |
