The bill, introduced by E. L. Nores (D-Llncoln county) of Pi-oche, Pi-oche, would require all car dealers deal-ers to post $5,000 bond in Nevada and prove their dealerships were legitimate in the state. Senator Nores said it was intended in-tended to check the sale of cars in Eastern Nevada communities, particularly in the Ploche-Call-ente aea of Lincoln county, by Utah firms "which haven't a cent invested in Nevada". He claimed Utah dealers are selling cars to Nevada residents to avoid paying Utah sales taxes. |
