Show i Classes will teach how to manage kids "Kids want to live by rules and maintain order in their lives. It makes them feel safe. Parents want the same thing, but they often sabotage the experience by falling into the trap of being ineffective in managing children," says child behavior specialist Ken Reavis, of the Utah Office of Education; Dr. Reavis will address parents and leaders Wednesday, June 12 from 7-9 p.m. This event will be held at the Davis County School District Administration Building (auditorium), 45 East State Street, Farmington. Parents and leaders are invited to attend this dynamic and entertaining entertain-ing presentation on parenting. Reservations Re-servations may be made by calling the sponsoring agency, USU Extension Exten-sion of Davis County (451-3403). This program is free to the public, but reservations are required due to limited space. Dr. Reavis will address 'DisciplineA Special Form of Love,' strategic parenting techniques, techni-ques, the positive discipline approach, ap-proach, and the "Hippocratic Oath for Parents." His remarks will motivate parents. |
