Total revenues for the current budget are $595 ,490, with expenditures at $592,808. The 1991-92 recommended revenues of $681,925 include: property tax at $ 1 60,000, sales taxes at $300,000, franchise tax at $2,300, business licenses and permits per-mits at $12,000, building permits at $40,000, block grants at $13,925, dog licenses at $1,050, planning and zoning at $1,200, protective services at $5,000, state liquor funds at $9,000, history book sales at $6,000, park impact fees at $5,000, park and bowery use fees at $1,000, fines at $92,000, sale of surplus property at $500, interest at $20,000 and sundry revenues at $10,000. Other miscellaneous items at $2,950. Expenditures include: administrative ad-ministrative for $9706, legislative for $13,415, judicial for $48,948, non-departmental for $140,574, data processing for $9,390, city hall for $9,350, planning commission for $29,265, police department for $230,857, street department for $93,785, parks for $54,788 for a total general fund ot $727,879. The water fund will have a projected pro-jected revenue of $176,000 with total expenditures at $221,308, with a net loss of $45,308. The solid waste fund is projected at $146,200 for revenues and the same amount for expenditures. The road fund will have $80,700, and the storm drainage capital improvement fund at $6,650. Bountiful officials received no pub lic input from citizens about the proposed budget. City Recorder Bev Haslam presented the latest figures to the council including expenditures estimated to be for $727,879. The j proposed revenues for 1991-92 are j for $681,925. "We will need to take $45,954 from the fund balance to cover the needed expenditures for the 199 1-92 1-92 budget," Haslam said. West Bountiful has $103,948 in its fund balance ceiling, 18 percent of the budgeted revenue, as mandated man-dated by law. In actual revenues, 5 percent of the fund balance is $29,775.
