The BountifulDavis Art Center will offer two watercolor workshops during the month of June. The first one will be with Thomas Leek on Friday -Saturday, June 21-22 followed by one with Jan Richins on Friday-Saturday, June 28-29. Leek's workshop will take place in the BDAC classroom, with some painting time outside, weather permitting. per-mitting. This will be a workshop with emphasis on the individual's ideas and development of personal technique with the watercolor medium. Richins will present a Garden Watercolor Workshop (oil painters welcome) of floral and landscape painting on locations in the Botanical Gardens of the USU Horticultural Hor-ticultural Farm in Farmington. Composition, color, light, shadow and aerial perspective will be emphasized em-phasized solving special problems encountered in painting outdoors. Both workshops will take place Friday evening and Saturday throughout the day. The registration fee for each workshop is $45, lunch not included. Each workshop is limited lim-ited to 15 participants, so it will be necessary to register as soon as possible and pay at the same time to reserve your space in the workshops. |
