Show Cook remains unbeaten All -state divers square off An invitational All-State High School Championship Diving Meet, sponsored by Wasatch Canyon Divers Di-vers for both one-meter and three-meter three-meter competition, was held at the Bountiful Recreation Center on March 1 and 2. The six top scoring 3A and 4A high school divers statewide were invited. Alicia Cms, Brighton High Senior scored a first place 322.85 on the 3m board and a first place 383.40 on the lm board. Nathan S. Cook, Bountiful High School's undefeated 3A first place winner, scored 499.35 on the lm board and 440.40 on the 3m board. Other winners in the Women's Division lm competition were: second, se-cond, Danerte Daniels, Bear River, 364.25; third, Aimee Bat em an, Highland, 339.20; fourth, Alisa Bentley, Highland, 327.40 and fifth, Jessica Jensen, Skyline, 307.45. Other winners in the Men's 3m competition were: second, Mike Topham, Cedar City, 366.50; third, Tyler Walton, Brighton, 356.50; fourth, Travis Evans, Brighton, 320.80. Placing second through seventh in the Men's lm competition were: second, Mike Topham, Cedar City, 417.00; third, Tyler Walton, Brighton, 375.20; fourth, Ted Bell, Murray, 369.40; fifth, Chad Hintze, Clearfield, 352.45; sixth, Travis Evans, Brighton, 336.70 and seventh, sev-enth, Eric Eaves, Provo, 333.45. Next month Cook and diving coaches Jim Perkins and Kurt Warnecke will compete on one meter and three meter boards in U.S. Division Association Zone Competition iii Mission Viejo, Calif.
