Show Gas line for Unitah Basin VERNAL Colorado Interstate Gas Co., a subsidiary of the Coastal Corp., is proposing to build a 223-mile natural gas pipeline to deliver Unitah Basin gas to the Midwest and California. The proposed $485 million project will move 178 million cubic feet of gas per day from eastern Utah, through northwest Colorado and to existing pipeline systems in southern Wyoming, said Barbara, Johnson, company spokeswoman. The line will originate at the Natural Buttes Field, 25 miles south of Vernal and connect with an existing line near Wamsutter, Wyo. |
