Show 'Odyssey' continues John and Mary R. Markle Foundation, the Andrew VV. Melon Foundation, the Illinois Humanities Council and the Satellite Program Development Fund. "The Odyssey of Homer" is the debut production of the National Radio Theatre series of plays CEDAR CITY -Odysseus journeys to Hades' realm and lives to tell its secrets in the fifth episode of National Radio Theatre's "Odyssey of Homer," Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. over KGSU-FM, 90.1 on the radio dial. Continuing his Great Wanderings, Odysseus is forced to seek advice from a legendary seer in the Land of the Dead. There he encounters his fallen comrades and his mother, who, had been alive when he left home. Returning to the sea, he resists the Sirens whose compelling song lures men to their death, braves the man-eating six-headed Scylla and the living whirlpool Chary bdis. Principal program support was provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Olher lundors include the behalf of New York Life Insurance Co., for planting trees at the Enoch park.
