Show Jail public meeting planned Commerce-Jaycees no-host no-host luncheon at 12 noon at the Town & Country Restaurant. This will be followed by a Cedar City town meeting in the courtroom of the old Iron County Jail Building, 45 E. Lincoln Avenue, at 7:30 p.m. Jail consultant Gary DeLand and architect Bob Boyle will make the presentations and answer any questions citizens may have. Jail Committee Chairman S. Garth Jones has encouraged everybody to attend and become informed about the proposal before the bond election. SALT LAKE CITY -Officials of the proposed new jail in Iron County have scheduled several meetings to inform the public of the proposal before a bond election Dec. 1. The first such meeting will be in Pa rowan, in the Parowan High School humanities room on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. This will be followed by three meetings on Nov. 18. The first will be at the Cedar City Kiwanis Club lunch at 12 noon. The second will be an Enoch Town Meeting at the Enoch Elementary at 5:30 p.m. The concluding presentation of the day will be at 8 p.m. in the Beryl Community Center.
