Show Club notes Booster club adopts resolution CEDAR CITY - The (Vd-ir High School Booster Club, at a meeting Nov. 5, adopted a resolution to the Cedar High School football team commending it lor winning the Region loolball championship and expressing appreciation ap-preciation to Coach Dave Jenson and his assistants lor the great success accomplished by the 1981 Red men Football Team. The Booster Club members unanimously agreed that the team was one of the finest-coached football teams to ever participate for CHS. The Club is made up of parents, fans and supporters sup-porters of the athletic programs at CHS. The Board of Directors meets regularly to discuss means lor raising funds to assist the various athletic programs and to budget the expenditure of the luiuls. Since the organization of the Booster Club lor the 1981-82 season, the Club has participated in numerous fund raising activities including the sale of Booster Club badges, hats, shirts and jackets at various liallgames and other activities; the annual drawing lor the deer rifle, contributed annually to the Booster Club by Jack Carter; and completion ol a drive lor contributions con-tributions Irom the various businesses within the community. The Club also considered con-sidered the amount of lunds available Irom the various lund raising activities and prepared tentative budgets lor lunds to be utilized by v a r i o u s a t h I e t i c programs lor both the boys and girls at CDS. The Club solicits membership and support Irom all persons within Iron County who may desire to contribute their time or make modest contributions to the support and assistance of the various athletic programs at CHS.
