Show Club notes Women's first meeting planned the homemaker to the career-oriented woman, all of whom share a common goal: to strengthen society by strengthening the family. It is one of only 26 organizations belonging to the national Council of Women of the United States, and is non-profit, non-partisan and non- sectarian. Anyone interested in joining the Association is invited to attend, as well as anyone wanting more information. The first meeting of the Utah Association of Women (Iron Mission Region) will be Wednesday Wed-nesday at 7:30 p.m. in room 204 of the Old Administration Ad-ministration Building, Southern Utah State College. Ann Hansen, past president of the Association, will speak on the origin, purpose and organization of the UA of W. Other topics for the year will include "Your Family in Today's Society," by Robert L. Blattner, director of LDS Social Services, Cedar City Agency; "Combining "Com-bining Career and Family," by June Larsen, Lar-sen, orchestra teacher at Cedar High School; "Secular Humanism: A Rising Religion," by Pat Mitchell, secretary of the Humanism Task Force and chairman of the UA of W.
