Hyatt, Parowan City Recorder, stated Monday that after many problems concerning the candidates can-didates for the coming November elections the ballot had been approved by both the City attorney and the Utah attorney general and was now final. After legal consideration, it was determined that the candidates were required to turn in a letter of resignation when their i candidacy was an- ' nounced, and would i become effective if ' elected to office. i Candidates on the i Republican ticket include ' Roy Benson, Jr. for i Mayor and Robert Dalley ' and Ralph K. Robinson i for councilman. On the ' Democratic ticket John I C. (Cy) Pendleton is " running for mayor, with I Frank M. Adams and Will Hillis running for councilman. Wesley E. Blake has also indicated I that he will run as a write-in candidate, ' although his name will not appear on the ballot. ' |
