Show Kanarraville By CARMA WILLIAMS Record Correspondent Primary elections were held Tuesday at the home of Geri Morrell. The four councilmen to win seats for the November election elec-tion were Bud Williams, Ronald Williams, Michael Williams, and Dick Agee. Two will be elected along with a new mayor. Ken Clark and Gaylen Allred are on the ticket for mayor. Chester and Carma Williams received word of the birth of a grandson born Oct. 6 at Dixie Medical Center to their daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Ronald Blake of Santa Clara, Utah. Dal and Barbara Peterson and daughter, Teri DeHart and three children April, Jimmie and Malissa from Las Vegas, spent Saturday and Sunday here with their parents, Sherold and Velma Peterson. Chesley Williams and son, Jeremy, from Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here with his parents. Chpster and Carma Williams. Chesley has just been transferred back to Salt Lake City after spending 3 years working for AT&T in Washington, D.C.- Ken and Wilma Clark hosted a harvest party at their beautiful home Friday evening. There were over a hundred H u e s t s from Kanarraville, Parowan, Cedar City and Las Las Vegas. There was dancing on their patio with Jack Miller and his band. Everyone enjoyed the evening of dancing and refreshments. Larry Owen from St. George and Renee Wood from Hurricane visited this past week with their friend, Scott Berry. Sister Beita Williams gave the opening prayer at Cedar West Stake conference in Cedar City Sunday. Neil Bauer from St. George and Nancy Bauer from Logan spent the weekend here visiting their parents, Henry and Fern Bauer and sister, Susan. |
