Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Mrs. Lois Iverson Reporters Mrs. Dee Woods and daughter, Laurel returned to Provo Wednesday Wednes-day after spending two weeks here visiting. Mrs. Joe Beatty and children of Pioche, spent Sunday and Monday Mon-day visiting at the home of G. I. Beatty. Miss Vera Dodge is here visiting visit-ing at the home of Mrs. Laura Bringhurst and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Earl are here from Boulder City, visiting at the home of Mrs. Earl's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson. An-derson. Mrs. Iola Scoville spent Sunday Sun-day and Monday here from Salt Lake City with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dodge. Monday evening a family social was held at the Samuel Dodge' home. Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Waldorf Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Lister Hallman, Mr. and Mrs. John Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Olds, Elaine Olds, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwell, all of Cedar City; and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Bleak of Virgin. Forty-four children child-ren and . grandchildren were present. pres-ent. The evening was spent in games after which a weiner roast was held. Among visitors in Toquerville over the week end for the Fourth were: Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hig-bee, Hig-bee, Mr and Mrs. Tom Harper, Mr. and Mrs. Onzel Weech of Compton, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Larry Anderson of Los Angeles; Mrs. Bert Langford of St. George; Scott Bringhurst of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Naegle of Las Vegas; and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Smith and daughter of Cedar City. Mrs. Loren Bringhurst returned Sunday from Salt Lake City where she has been the past two weeks for medical, treatment. Eldon Bringhurst has been quite ill the past few days. Miss Maxine Slack returned Sunday from Washington, D. C, where she has been working for the past three months. She brought Mr. and Mrs. Antone Bowler's children, Jeanne and Bruce with her to visit at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slack. Miss Dixie Kleinman returned Sunday from San Bernardino, where she has visited for the past three weeks. |
