Funeral Service Being Held Today At 6:30 P. M. for 9-Month-Old Simmons Baby Funeral services are being held this (Thursday) evening at 6:30 p.m., in the South ward chapel for Sandra Simmons, nine-month-old daughter of Lieut, (j.g.) and Mrs. E. J. (Ted) Simmons. The baby died at the local hospital Tuesday, July 4th at 8 p. m., after a short illness of acute toxema. She was born in St. George, Oct. 7, 1943. Her father is with the U. S. Naval air forces somewhere some-where in the Southwest Pacific. Her mother, the former Margaret Mitchell, is residing in St. George for the duration. Bishop James Andrus will conduct the funeral services. Surviving besides her parents are her grandparents, Mrs. Vera Mitchell of St. George, and Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Simmons of Orem, Utah; and five great-grandparents, J. W. Gates of St. George; Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Simmons of Provo; and Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Mitchell of Clinton, Mo.
