Earl Richard Milne, who graduated gradu-ated June 26th, at Pecos Army air field, Texas, with commission of Second Lieutenant is here visiting visit-ing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. J. Milne of St. George, and with his wife, the former Ora Sandberg and their daughter, Sheron. -'(. .)(. -K. -If W Mrs. Roxey S. Romney and daughter, Mrs. W. A. Davis spent the week end at the Bullock ranch on Cedar mountain, returning return-ing late July Fourth. Mrs. Victor W. Jones left Thursday Thurs-day evening for Camp Adair, Oregon to visit her husband, Pvt. Jones, who is stationed there. She left her baby with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. G. D. Hyatt. a Bishop and Mrs. Max Hafen and children of Mesquite were in St. George Wednesday visiting and on business. Miss Iva Lou Johnson of Los Angeles was a house guest over the week end of Mr. and Mrs. Val McArthur. Mrs. Howard W. Schmutz and son, Howard Jr., of Meadow, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Schmutz. .'(. j. K- 'f "Vf Miss Jessie Larson returned last week to Salt Lake City, after spending several days here with relatives. Mrs. W. J. Reichmann and son, Keith, accompanied Herman Lar-kin Lar-kin to Salt Lake City on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Reber were hosts at a lawn supper followed by an evening of cards at their home last Saturday evening. Mrs. Gerald Seegmiller is home from Salt Lake City where she went to attend her husband who contracted pneumonia while working work-ing at sheep shearing in Idaho. He is now convalesing at the home of his sister, Mrs. Zoe Adam. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Furrey are here to remain until July 11. Mr. Furrey is relief mechanic for the emergency landing fields and airports of this area. They work out of Santa Monica but came to St. George from Delta, and expect ex-pect to go on to Nevada, |
