Show 4-H Clubs Hold Meets Here During Past Week The Stitching Cadets met Monday with their teachers, Mrs. Le-Grande Le-Grande Spilsbury and Mrs. Wood-row Wood-row Seegmiller at the home of Mrs. George H. Seegmiller. Member Mem-ber Gertrude Schmutz gave an interesting in-teresting demonstration on making mak-ing and finishing plackets and exhibited ex-hibited a variety of wool fabrics. The group completed their plans for participating in the week end 4-H outing to Pine Valley. Althea Rose Nelson, reporter. Preparing fruit for breakfast was the subject of the lesson for the Busy Bakers 4-H club June 27th. The group met at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Leon Jennings. Jenn-ings. Miss Pauline Christensen gave the lesson .after which we prepared breakfast fruits. Marian Mar-ian Workman, reporter. The Future Tailors of America 4-H club of Washington with the help of -their teachers, Mrs. Dar-rell Dar-rell Nisson and Mrs. Archie Tob-ler Tob-ler sponsored a dance at Washington, Wash-ington, Friday, June 30 for the townspeople. During the dance, pop was sold, the proceeds of which will be used for the 4-H club outing to be held at Pine Valley next week. Bonita Tobler, reporter. |
