Show HURRICANE Mrs. Vernet Hinton Reporter Mrs. William E. Woodbury entertained enter-tained 36 guests at her home last Friday evening at a lawn party honoring her husband on his birthday anniversary. Several relatives rel-atives and friends from out of town attended. Miss Helen Seaman of St. George is spending the week with Mrs. Marilyn Reber. Bryce Woodbury is visiting in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Bradshaw. Mrs. Robert Oxehood of Los Angeles visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Newell Frazier. Mrs. G. B. Wilson returned last week from visiting in Shelby, Ida. She was accompanied home by little Miss Eunice Cox, who will be her guest for the summer. Miss Glenna Hall left Saturday for Los Angeles where she will work in a defense plant. Mrs. Paul Thurston arrived Tuesday from Salt Lake City where she has been with her daughter for medical care. Miss Nedra Gibson is home from Douglas aircraft, Los Angeles, An-geles, visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Gibson, while her mother recuperates from goiter surgery. Miss Laura Lytle and Miss Sheila Thomas were week end guests of Miss Merlene Ballard. Betty Lue Stevens and Delma Ballard are home from Salt Lake City, where they have been working. " Relatives in Hurricane have received re-ceived announcement of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ragazzine of Ansonia, Conn. Mrs. Ragazzine will be remembered re-membered as the former Ruth Wilson of Hurricane. |
