Show Mrs. Max Warner and small daughter, Joan, of Provo, will return re-turn homo this week end after visiting for two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Judd. Mr. Judd's brother, Robert L Judd of Salt Lake City, also visited vis-ited with them Saturday on his way to Hurricane, where he was an official conference visitor Mrs. John R. Bentley left Tuesday Tues-day evening for Los Angeles where she was called to be with her sister, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Milne spent Saturday and Sunday in Las Vegas with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Lamoreaux. Mrs. B. P. Wulffenstein Jr., left Tuesday for Jean, Nev., where she and her husband have employment. employ-ment. A. W. Gregerson returned to Jean, Nev., Saturday to resume his employment after being at home for a week. Vernon Cannon and Reuben Stratton were chairmen in charge of a very delightful adult group entertainment for South ward members given in the chapel recreation rec-reation hall last Saturday evening, Mar. 20. A program of music, singing, games dancing and refreshments re-freshments provided the evening's entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. James Bundy were in from Mt. Trumbull over the week end to attend conference. Family members assembled at the home of James S. Jones Monday Mon-day evening for an informal social honoring Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones who are home for a short visit from California. Mrs. Sarah Houston arrived on Tuesday from Panguitch to visit relatives and attend the Temple. She will remain several weeks. Mrs. Jane M. Moss entertained a small group of friends at her home last Friday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hale, who have been her guests for the past month and are leaving Saturday for their home in Blackfoot, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones and smaU daughter, Sharon, visited relatives and friends in St. George Monday and Tuesday, returning to Inglewood, Calif., on Wednesday, where Mr. Jones has employment with Douglas aircraft. jt. -Jr. W -K tf Miss Jean Cottam was home from Kanab over Saturday evening eve-ning and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. David Esplin and Mrs. Ralph Blackburn were down from Orderville, to attend Temple sessions. Mrs. Blackburn returned home Saturday morning, the others remaining. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bentley left Tuesday evening for Salt Lake City on business and to visit relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Frank Miles arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday morning from Ogden to join Mr. Miles, Who has been here for two weeks. Six couples enjoyed a pot-luck party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Anson B. Call, following the Gold and Green Ball last Friday evening. Mrs. Grant Harris left Sunday for San Bernardino, Calif., to visit her husband, who is stationed there' and who anticipates being transferred shortly overseas. |
