Show llURRICANE Mrs. Vernet Ilinton Reporter Wilden Heaton is home on furlough fur-lough from Camp White, Ore. He has been gone over two years. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Church are here visiting from Las Vegas. Mrs. Glenna Stocks and children child-ren are here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stratton. Rulon Woodbury and Fenton Hirschi came home Friday from the A. C. to stay until they have to report in the service. Senator and Mrs. Claud Hirschi are home after being gone for several weeks while Senator Hirschi Hir-schi was in the legislature. Mrs. Tess Tyler and son left Saturday morning for Springville where she will stay for a while. Darwin Stratton left again for the Army after spending a week here. His wife will stay with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stratton for the duration. Keith Cole of Nephi is here visiting vis-iting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Hinton. Jim Cornelius, who has been in the Hawaiian Islands in the service serv-ice is here with his wife and baby for two weeks. McLloyd Sullivan is here on furlough fur-lough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sullivan. Howard Kleinman has closed down the meat market and has employment in Las Vegas. Page Knell of Newcastle was a visitor here Sunday. The senior class of Hurricane high school presented an assembly at the Dixie college and Woodward Wood-ward high. The cast enjoyed taking tak-ing it down to them. Mrs. Gardner Heywood left Sunday Sun-day for Salt Lake City to stay with her parents for several weeks to rest for her health. Mrs. Allie Wilson and Donna Wright were visitors in St. George last Friday. Ramona Wood and Letha Johnson John-son were visitors here Wednesday i from St. George. Mrs. Rudgar Atkin and children of St. George were Thursday visitors vis-itors of Mrs. Irene Brooks. The Junior Prom held last Friday Fri-day night was a success with many people attending from neighboring neigh-boring towns. The North ward superintendency gave a party to the outgoing officers of-ficers Monday night.
