Show SPRINGDALE d Mrs. Arnold Ruesch Reporter Church services were not held in g Springdale last Sunday, due to so many having gone to Hurricane to attend stake conference. Mrs. Amelia J. Gifford returned home last week and is confined C to her bed due to high blood pressure. LeGrande Hepworth returned t home from California last week and has gone on to Salt Lake City where he has employment. Graden Johnson has returned to Salt Lake City, where she has employment, after visiting in Springdale for several days. Mr and Mrs. Carl Gifford of St. George, Mr. and Mrs. Elias fc Gifford and two sons, Pat and 1 Gover of Draper, Utah, and Mrs. 1 Ivy Allred of Lovell, Wyo., spent a few days here visiting their 1 parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moses E. Gifford. Victor Kuesch and Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Ruesch spent Sunday home from Cedar City where they have employment. Delworth Ruesch has been seriously ser-iously ill with an infected hand. We were honored by having one ( of our residents, Von T. Hoyt, chosen as president of Zion park stake M. I. A. Mr. Hoyt has served as ward M. I. A. president the past year. Miss Gwen Turner spent the week end in Washington. Mrs. Ronald Christensen has been ill the past week. Newell Crawford, who has been stationed at the military camp at Fort Lewis, Wash., has been deferred de-ferred and is at home. , Callis Crawford, son of Mr and Mrs. Squire Crawford is confined to his bed with kidney trouble. Mr and Mrs. Edwin DeMille made a business trip to St. George last Friday. The Relief Society held its 19-43 anniversary party last Wednesday )eVWord has been received by relatives rel-atives here of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Roland Katt The mother is the former Miss Dorothy Excell. |
