Show Mrs. Gordon Whitehead Attends Son's Graduation Mrs. Gordon Whitehead and her sister, Mrs. Ward Esplin, returned Sunday from Los Angeles, where they attended the graduation ceremonies cere-monies of the Dental College of the University of Southern California, Cali-fornia, where Rulon Whitehead was one of the 87 March graduates. gradu-ates. Dr. Whitehead was one of eight who were given honor keys of the O. K. U. national fraternity of dental students. Of the eight, four were Utahns, and three of these, including Clayton Prince, son of Sheriff and Mrs. Antone B. Prince, who won the highest honors of the class, all boasted St. George as their home town. Besides Doctors Whitehead and Prince, A. Clawson Bleak, son of Mrs. Alfred Bleak, former Dixie-ite, Dixie-ite, won the honor and key listed himself with the Dixie boys. The two women also attended the official graduation ceremonies of the college held on Wednesday. Both Clayton Prince and Rulon Whitehead, who now have the title of Dental Surgeons, will take the California State board examinations before returning return-ing to this state to pass the Utah exams. While in Los Angeles, Mrs. Whitehead and Mrs. Esplin were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead White-head has just completed his first year in Dental Surgery. |
