Show Dixie Invited To Send Delegates To A. W. S. Organizations' Meetings Officers of the Associated Women Students of Dixie college have been invited to attend the annual an-nual convention of the Utah and Idaho district of A. W. S. organizations organ-izations to bet held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8, at Brigham Brig-ham Young university in Provo. The newly-dedicated Joseph Smith building at B. Y. U., will be the scene of the convention sessions, which include luncheons and discussion dis-cussion meetings on both days and a banquet and dance Friday evening. eve-ning. A special scenic ride and canyon breakfast are also planned I for the delegates. Directing plans for the event at the host school are Mrs. Nettie Neff Smart, dean of women at B. Y. U., and the A.W. S. officers Lucy Cannon of Salt Lake City, president; Louise Abegg, of Chihuahua, Chi-huahua, Mexico, vice president; Maxine Taylor of American Fork, secretary; and Phyllis Jensen of Mapleton, recreation chairman. |
