Show SANTA CLARA Miss Laura Gubler Reporters A costume Hallowe'en parade was held Friday afternoon by the Primary officers, teachers and children. The parade took in Main street and up and down town. Following it, they all met at the auditorium, where dancing danc-ing and games were enjoyed. A lollypop and balloon were given each child. Mrs. Rulon Snow, stake Relief Society president of St. George; was the guest speaker at Relief Society here Tuesday. The Thursday Afternoon club entertainment their husbands at a Hallowe'en Rook party at Mrs. Preston Hafen's home Saturday evening. The Hallowe'en motif was carried out in costume, luncheon lunch-eon and decorations. Mrs. Margie Clayton and small son, Cody, left Sunday for Nelson, Nev., to spend1 the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Frei and baby are home for the winter after spending the summer at Carp, Nev. Mrs. Gid Graff was a visitor here this last week from Alamo, Nev. Ed R. Frei left Tuesday for Salt Lake City to spend the winter win-ter working in the Temple. Francelle Graff visited his parents par-ents here several days from San Luis Obispo. Ellis Reber spent Sunday and Monday here from Salt Lake City visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reber. Mrs. Barbara and Miss Elsie Fluckinger Of Bedford, Wyo., and Mrs. Elsie Roberts of Thayne, Wyo., were visitors here Monday. Mrs. Fluckinger was converted to the church by Jacob Frei in Switzerland over fifty years ago. |
