Show Local News Items Mrs. Sarah Mangum of Cannonville arrived here Tuesday night to visit her daughter Mrs. George Prisbrey. Joe Haslam, cattle buyer, cf Cedar City, spent several' days in Washington Washing-ton county this week on business. Miss Gertrude McGregor went to Littlefield, Ariz., Sunday to spend a few days with her sister La Berta. Earl Hall returned home Friday morning from Los Angeles, California, where he spent several months working. work-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gubler and Henry Gubler of La Verkin attended the funeral of Sidney Pectol here Saturday. Sat-urday. Mrs. J. Harvey Hall who has been visiting her mother Mrs. Lena Crosby here left for her home at Hurricane Friday. Neils Sandberg returned Wednesday from Hurricane where he spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Sandberg. Mr. Gillen of the ticket department of the Pickwick Stage system, was in St. George on company business the last of the week. Mrs. Rose Roberts and Mrs. Ella Gleave of Annabella, Utah, neices of Mrs. Partha Ann Hunt, attended her funeral here Tuesday. Miss Beth Gardner left last Thursday Thurs-day night for the Hawaiian Islands intending to spend several months there doing missionary work. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Arns, Miss Jennie Reeve, Chester Jones and Ross Urie all of Cedar City were among the week end visitors at St. George. Miss Mildred Stewart spent Monday here while en route to Los Angeles, Calif., from Salt Lake City. She was the guest of Miss Marie Cannon. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Judd returned home Saturday night from Las Vegas, Nevada, where Mrs. Judd had been spending a few days with her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Child left last Friday for their home at Ogden. Mrs. Child spent the past few weeks here with her mother Mrs. Charles Bastion. Royal Barney and Wilford Barney of Annabella, Utah, and Elroy and Glen Thurston of Richfield, nephews of Mrs. Partha Ann Hunt, attended her funeral here Tuesday, j The following are St. George visitors ! today, Mr. and Mrs. Martie Larson of Motoqua, Stanley Bradshaw and J.
