Show MT, TRUMBULL Mt. Trumbull,' April 9. Floyd Iverson Iver-son left here on April 2 for Salt Lake City from which place he will go to the mission field in Mexico. Floyd was a boy who was very much liked here and his many friends wish him much success in his labors. The people peo-ple here contributed most generously toward helping him start. About $100 was collected. Roy Whipple returned home yesterday yester-day after spending three months in the east visiting friends and relatives. He states that he had a good visit. It had been 23 years since Mr. Whipple left Connecticut as a mere lad of 14. He was accompanied by his cousin, Mr. Raymond. His wife who had been visiting relatives in Mt. Pleasant and Salt Lake City also come home with him. "Pat" Bundy and Ensign Griffith made a business trip to Hurricane last week. I Mrs. Duncan made a trip to St. George last week. Mr. and Mrs. James Bundy, De-' De-' lila Alldredge and Nora Iverson spent j last week working in the temple at St. George. P. M. Iverson and daughter, Miss Leatha, and Mr. and Mrs. Abe Bundy went to Salt Lake last Monday. I James Bunday came out from St George yesterday bringing a thoroughbred thorough-bred bull for Clyde Rosenberry. A dance was given by the primary-last primary-last Friday night. The weather has been very windy (and cold here of laste, one-half inch of ice froze here last night. 1 "Pat" Bundy left last night i'or Hurricane. Ensign Griffith left yesterday for Bunkerville. R. Rosenberry left Monday for a trip to Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sorenson were here Monday looking over the country. coun-try. A supper, egg hunt and dance was given at the main school house last night. |
