Show SI'RINGDALE Springdale, April 9. Mrs. Lora Christen.sen and hor daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. R. I. Price and ctuldren of Park City, arrived here last week and are now visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Price intend staying here for the summer. Mrs. Christensen and daughter (Mrs. Price) moved away from this place to Hurricane some years ago and from there on up north. Everyone is happy to welcome them again. Elder Peterson of the High Council was a missionary visitor here Sunday. A large crowd attended the meeting in spile of the fact that there was a great deal of excitement in the yard. Jack's Holt's movie company were taking pictures. The elder's talk was very interesting and intruc-tive. intruc-tive. Mrs. Freeborn Gilford has gone to Salt Lake for conference and to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Arseneth Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Eager have gone to Arizona expecting to stay a month. Mrs. Alvin Hardy has gone to Hurricane Hur-ricane for a short stay. We have had some very cold weather wea-ther the past week and quite a number num-ber of people seem to have caught severe se-vere colds from the sudden change of weather. Larkin Gifford was a business visitor vis-itor at St. George Saturday. Miss Minerva Cottam of St. George is here visiting friends. Miss Frances Crawford of Spring-dale Spring-dale who is taking a nurse's course in the St. George hospital, was a visitor at her home here Sunday. Our young people who are attending attend-ing school at Hurricane and at St. George, spent the week end at their homes. i |
