Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, April 10. Miss Minnie Hafen returned from Omaha, Nebraska, Nebras-ka, last Monday, w-here she has fulfilled ful-filled an honorable mission. We were visited by Elders George Hinton and Howard Hirschi last Sunday Sun-day as home missionaries, from Hurricane. Hurri-cane. They left many good thoughts with us. Most of our young people attended the junior prom at St. George last Friday Fri-day night. A good time was reported. re-ported. Joseph Graff returned from the hospital hos-pital last Thursday where he has been for three weeks. He is getting along as well as can be expected considering consider-ing the condition he was in when he was taken there. He has regained the sight of his left eye, but there is not much hope of him ever being able to see out of the right one. . Edward R. Frei, Sr. returned from Salt Lake last night where he has been on business and where he attended at-tended conference. Miss Clara Graff spent the week end at home from Hurricane where she is teaching school. Clifford Wittwer and Ruth Riding were married last Wednesday in the St. George' temple. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wittwer came down from Minersville last Friday where he is teaching school, to attend the wedding dance of his brother. Jack Frost did a lot of damage to our fruit crop and also our early garden gar-den stuff. We are having a lot of cold, windy weather. Our boys who are working up on the road camp, came down to spend Easter. They returned Monday morning. |
