Show TOQUERVILLE Toquerville, April 10. Melvin Nelson Nel-son of Buhl, Idaho, is here visiting his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Slack. Quite a number of our young people attended the junior prom at St. George Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Spilsbury spent Easter Sunday here, the guests of Mr. and Mi's. L. S. Kleinman. Miss Florence and Scott Bringhurst were visitors at Cedar City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Pace of New Harmony spent Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Naegle. Our home missionaries Sunday gave us wonderful talks. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bringhurst and Bishop and Mrs. Archie Kleinman spent Easter Sunday in Zion. Mr. and Mrs. Berry Williams spent Sunday here from Kanarra with Mr. and Mrs. George Kleinman. Mrs. Idona Smith entertained her club members Friday. Mrs. Fern Jackson is home for a few days from the St. George hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. Rowena Slack entertained the members of the T. K. K. club Thursday. Thurs-day. A delicious lunch was served. Misses Ina McArthur, Reva Andrews and Lillian Mathis were visitors here Sunday. Our Scouts under their scoutmaster, Paul Thurston, have been doing good work this winter. They put the fence up around the church. Last Saturday they visited each house and took away all rubbish from the place. They also planted lawns at the school house and at present they are busy with their bows and arrows that have arrived and also drilling in preparation to going to Cedar City in May. |
