Show Reduction of Number of Valve-Grinding Tasks Widespread use of highly volatile, nondetonating gasolines is resulting in a great reduction of the number of valve-grinding jobs that the average repair shop does. This is to be expected ex-pected and for the most part is entirely en-tirely satisfactory. But it happens frequently that the car owner goes too far with the assumption that the valves are seating properly.
