Show County offices to open during noon hour Starting Monday, Jan. 11, Uintah County business offices will remain open during the noon hour for a two-month two-month trial period. According to County Commissioners, the offices remaining open during the noon hour will be the clerk, treasurer, assessor and recorder. If the demand is great enough during the noon hour period, the four county offices will remain open on a permanent per-manent basis. If the demand does not justify the noon opening, the offices will go back to closing after a two-month period, explained the commissioners. Regular hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The commissioners also resolved to require a secretary present at all times to take minute entries during all commission meetings.
