Show Services held for Craig Larsen Funeral services were held for Donald Craig Larsen, age 29, Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1981 at 10 a.m. in American Fork at 25th Ward. Craig died Saturday, Satur-day, Dec. 26 following a lengthy illness. Services were under the direction of Bishop Gerald Wilson. Family prayer was by Donald Larsen. Claudia Dixon played the prelude and postlude music. The life sketch was given by Gilbert Jarvie. Speakers were Bruce Brown, Louis Bessert, and Bishop Rodney Turner. A piano solo was played by Claudia Dixon. Musical trios were sung by Dennis Molley, Stan Butler and Paul Larsen. Invocation was by Neal Morris and benediction was by Don Bishop. The grave dedication was by Bill Stewart. Burial was at the American Fork City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ferrell Robb, Kayla Lloyd, Valoy Brown, Harry Draper, Tony Gonzales and Norm Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Coyne Larsen, Keith Larsen, Cem Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Kevin Murphy, John Ylincheta, Bob Atwood, Ed Fox, John Ross, Ray Alt, Rick Cunningham, Ned Montgomery and Rick Buist. Craig was born Aug. 30, 1952 in Rock Springs, Wyo. He was raised on a ranch in the Wyoming Washem District north of Manila. He completed high school at Manila and had one year at Trade Tech in Salt Lake City before going on a two year mission for the LDS Church in the North States Mission. It was while on this mission that he met his wife Deborah Ann Murphy. At the time of their marriage in the Salt Lake Temple, Deborah was attending at-tending BYU in Provo. Craig turned to diesel mechanics and worked seven years in this field at the Savage Brothers. At the time of his death, he was foreman over the pickup truck motors department. He is survived by his wife Debbie, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Don Larsen, six sisters: Duella Stewart, Mountain View, Wyo.; Mera Don Ylincheta, Renae McPeek and Blenda Larsen, Manila; Margie Taylor, Green River, Wyo. and Ruth Ann Buist, Vernal; two brothers, Coyne, Salt Lake City and Keith of Manila. He was preceded in death by a baby daughter Melissa Anne and two brothers Kerwin D. and Darwin J. |
