Show Health group adds two Basin members Members of the Uintah Basin Subarea Advisory Council (SAC) have selected two Basin residents to help fulfull the responsibility of providing local input in the health planning process pro-cess in Utah. Chosen to serve on the SAC. an arm of the Utah Health Systems Agency, i USA . are Janean Beason, an R.N. with the Umtah Basin District Health Department, Duchesne; and Allen Harrison, Har-rison, a City Councilman and contractor contrac-tor in Roosevelt. The Uintah Basin SAC is one cf seven throughout the state organized to serve in an adivsory role to the Utah USA, a statewide health planning organization. The SAC is actively involved in a review of the nursing shortage problem ' that currently exists in this area. For the past several months, the group has been meeting to collect data and develop ways to eliminate the problem. The SAC's next meeting will be held February 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the Uintah County Hospital. The public is invited to attend this and all future meetings of the Council. |
