A reception honored the couple at the Maeser Ward Chapel. Perry-Fisher exchange January wedding vows Lisa, daughter of Rodney and LaRae Perry became the bride of Chandler, son of Richard and Pricilla Fisher on January 11, 1980. The ceremony was performed at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Elder Buckmiller officiated. A wedding breakfast at the Chuck-O-Rama in Salt Lake City was hosted by the groom's parents for 30 wedding guests. That evening a reception was held to honor the newlyweds at the Maeser Ward Chapel. The bride's gown was designed by her and made by her mother. It had a fitted bodice inset with snowflake lace in a square yoke outlined with a gathered lace edging. The overskirt was the same snowflake lace edged with two wide ruffles flowing into a long chapel train in the back. Long full sleeves were gathered onto lace fitted cuffs. A gathered crepe cumberband accentuated accen-tuated the waist. Her fingertip, veil gathered onto a lace flower headpiece. She carried an imported bouquet of peach carnations with rust roses and white stephanotis accented with white ribbons. The bride was attended by her sisters, Janice Van Tassell matron of honor and Camille Perry maid of honor. They wore peach and rust floral street length dresses and carried bouquets of peach, rust and white flowers accented with brown ribbons. Flower girls were Fawn and Rachelle Perry, sisters of the bride and Rachel Fisher, sister of the groom. They wore peach and rust floral dresses of organdy organ-dy and carried brown baskets of peach carnations and rust roses accented with sprigs of stephanotis. The mothers chose blouses of rust with brown, peach and rust floral skirts. They wore corsages of rust roses with pink and blue rosebuds. The groom was attired in an all white tuxedo with long tails and a white ruffled ruffl-ed shirt and bow tie. He had a peach rosebud boutonniere. Best man duties were performed by Eugene Wager. He wore a pale gray suit and white shirt. A beautiful backdrop of peach color tied with large brown bows flanked with two urns filled with peach roses and standing on Grecian pedestals on each side decorated the hall. The tables were covered with peach tablecloths with peach colored carnations carna-tions floating in brandy snifters. The four tiered wedding cake was white decorated with rust roses cascading across the top and white lace around the layers. It sat upon a large mirror and was topped with white wedding wed-ding bells. It was made by Erma Stewart, aunt of the bride. Rebecca Fisher, the groom's sister was at the guest book. Corwin Fisher and Darin Perry were the gift bearers. Ronald and Brenda Perry served as greeters. Marilyn Gibbons, Annie Trujillo and Kathy Allen were at the gift table, Marita Batty, Sherry Gardner, Treveline Hall, Rama Hatch and Marlea Beckstead served in the kitchen. kit-chen. Prenuptial showers were: a kitchen shower given by Gaylene and Amy-Fisher Amy-Fisher and Kay Coppers in Provo and a food shower given by Becky Beckstead and Marilyn Stagg in Vernal. After a wedding trip to Southern California, the couple are at home in Provo where they will continue their education. |
