Show ( Voice of By Diedra Northern BINGO WINNER! For the week of Jan. 22 was; Alice Mott, with seven games; Lillian Westwood with six games and Lena Mast, with five games. If you are 55 or older and get bored with sitting home, come and play bingo every Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30. If you need transportation, call 789-2169, we will pick you up and take you home. Wednesday dinner at the Vernal Junior High School had 65 attending. The Barber Shop quartet provided entertainment for the group. The quartet was the High School staff conducted con-ducted by Mr. Reed Hansen. A standing room only crowd attended the dance Friday night. Newcomers were Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Landon, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Haslem. Welcome back, Arden and Carma Hacking, Mike Frat-to, Frat-to, Lola and Don Aguliar, Shirley and Bernice Ainge, Doyle Lloyd, Carol Hatch, Hat-ch, and Marvin Richardson. Happy Birthday Bir-thday was sung to Lorin Pike, Melba Sargeant and Ada Murray. The anniversary an-niversary waltz was played for Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Pike, 44 years of happy marriage. mar-riage. Tony Woodhouse, Judy Brighton and Ralph Walker, joined and sang some numbers with Newl and the Harmony Four. Be sure and come out to the dance Friday, it will be the Ground Hog Eve dance. There will be a special treat and who knows what else. MAYBE A GROUNDHOG... We would like to make a correction, and apologize to Judy Brighton for having hav-ing her name incorrect in last weeks Voice of Experience. Instead of Judy Jameson it was Judy Brighton. Monday's stew dinner had 125 Senior Citizens who wouldn't let even the falling fall-ing snow keep them away. Hope Preece demonstrated her potters wheel, and the art to making pottery. She also made 40 small pots, and gave them away after the demonstration. The cooks received some beautiful pots, that Hope had made for table decorations. decora-tions. We would like to thank Hope, for sharing the wonderful talent that she has. On the menu for next Monday, February 4, is: Swiss steak, potatoes and gravy, buttered corn, jcllo and green salads, rolls and strawberry bavarian cream pie. We wish a speedy recovery to Charlie Lewis, Carl Hadlock, Elva Eldredge and Sadie McConkie, who are all in the Uintah County Hospital. Also to Lloyd Richards, who is in the St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. To Sally Weeks and Delia Chivers, who are out of the hospital, but recovering at their relatives home.
