They were on their way home after spending the past week in Salt Lake City and Provo where Wiley attended at-tended the world conference on records. While there they visited their parents and other family members and friends. The other two daughers were in Arizona visiting grandparents and other relatives. CJinton and Ruth Cooper of Hurricane visited the Lawrence Kays and sons Sunday. Dee and Mary Manwaring of Provo visited their sister Thelma Manwaring Man-waring Saturday and attended the open house for the Glenn Openshaws. Jim and Chris Richardson and children, Larry and Debra Johnson and children, Lue Rae Burr and children, and Lynette Richardson all of Salt Lake City and DeeAnn Hamilton and children of Fritch, Texas, spent the weekend with their parents, Von and Lulu Stewart and attended the Fletcher reunion held at Remember the Maine. A missionary testimonial for Michael Manwaring was held Sunday in Naples 2nd Ward. He will serve a two year LDS mission in Argentina Cordob. He will enter the Mission Training Center at Provo on August 28. JoAnn Novinger and children accompanied ac-companied by Kirk Reynolds spent two days in Fruita, Colo., with David and Shelda Dolan and daughter recently. Dan and Brenda Olsen entertained at a barbeque Thursday, evening. Present were Kedric and Freda Caldwell; Howard and Susan Weaver and children; Cliff and Doris Weaver: and the Dan Olsen family. Cliff and Doris Weaver left Sunday morning for their home in Beaver Falls, Penn., after a weeks visit with Howard and Susan Weaver and family. Cliff is Howard's father. Naples 1st Ward held a court of honor for Bov Scout troop 235. Sunday. 67 merit badges and 13 progress awards were given. Max and Ilene Harrison of Provo visited their mother, Edris Karren two days recently. Lee and Charma Karren and family of Rangely, Colo., spent the weekend with their mother Edris Karren. Their son Danny, stayed the week to visit his grandmother. Karren Akinson and son Alex, of Arcadia, visited her parents, the Ken Lind's two days last week. |
